Spicey Dicey


So over the years I have tried out so many variant dice mechanics in my games and thought experiments. I have read and absorbed so many other systems out there trying to find the most fun and efficient system for me. Then I gave up and just settled on the tiered results that I have today. I just had to go for it or else I would have been studying probability curves, dice types forever. I have tweaked the core dice system today to allow for better probabilities and introduced a third die to the mix.

Now the player rolls a d8 by default, if they can convince the referee that there character can do something well or easily they may roll a d12. However they will have to roll a d6 if they are at a disadvantage or in a lot of trouble.

This will be in the next version out in a few days.
